Digital Video Encoding

Token will convert your film (8/16mm) or video (any video tape or disc format) to a lossless-quality digital file for computer non-linear editing, or a high-quality compressed format for the web.

Supply token with an external hard drive, and we'll transfer your film or video directly to it, or have Token burn the data to CD- or DVD-ROM (additional cost may apply for disc).

Most Common file formats:

• Quicktime (.mov) DV for editing in iMovie or Final Cut Pro.
• Video for Windows (.avi) DV for PC-based video-editing applications.
• Flash Video (.flv) high-quality compression for web sites and multimedia presentations.
• MPEG (.mpg) multiple standards for Video-CD, DVD, and computer and web playback.

Streaming (online) video is commonly created using highly-compressed versions of the following formats: Quicktime, Windows Media (.wmv) or Flash Video.
